Class 2 - Mrs Bell and Mrs Fedyszyn

Mrs Fedyszyn and Mrs Bell welcome you to Class 2's page. We have a fun and exciting curriculum planned for this year. We enjoy being creative and encourage independence. We love helping the children to learn about the world around us and enjoy off-site visits and welcome visitors, helping the children to gain a deeper understanding through first hand experiences. We have an amazing team of people to help us in Class 2 - Miss Horan, Mrs Uveges and Mrs Simms. Our teaching assistants help, encourage and inspire us to be the very best we can be! Like each and every year, this year is set to be a busy one. Keep checking the school website and our class blog for newsletters and updates on our latest adventures! Mrs Fedyszym puts fantastic effort into keeping our blog up to date - take a moment each week to have a peek! Our Class 2 Curriculum Overview can be found in the Curriculum section of the website. A copy of our most recent newsletter is uploaded below at the start of each term.

Pentecost 1 - What's out there, beyond our blue sky?

Pentecost 2 - How is the gift of water important to us?

In History the children will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of the moon landing this half term. We will learn all about the significance of this exploration, reading and learning about the journey, kep people and the risks they took.

Later in the term, we will make a trip to Conkers where we will explore and celebrate all our hard work.  We will be using maps to help us orientate the park and might even have some time for den building.

There's lot to look forward to - let's make a 'giant' leap in our learning this term.

Parents - How can you help?  Regular reading with your child and having a discussion about what they read is invaluable.  Children need to keep learning their keyword spellings which are tested weekly.

Remember, you are welcome to make an appointment to speak to any of us if you have any queries or concerns.
